| Mission Statement The basic reason for The Lake City Fire Department's existence is to perform firefighting and emergency services to protect life and property. The mission of the Lake City Fire Department is to provide first class quality fire protection and other emergency services relevant to the needs of the Citizens of the City of Lake City. These services shall be delivered in an acceptable, high-quality, courteous, humane, safe, and efficient manner. The Lake City Fire Department believes that recognition of the value placed on life and property by human beings is essential in the delivery of fire service. The fire service provided by the Lake City Fire Department shall be responsive to City and Community needs. |
